Covers loss of or damage to goods/cargo being transported by road, sea or air.
The insurance is usually in force from the time the goods leave the warehouse or place of storage named in the policy for the commencement of the transit and continues during the ordinary course of transit and terminates either unless otherwise specified and agreed:
1. On delivery top the consignees or other final warehouse at the destination named in the policy.
2. On the expiry of sixty days after completion of discharge of the goods from the vessel at the final part of discharge.
This insurance can be extended to cover war, strike, riots and civil commotion on payment of additional premium.
This policy is also subject to certain standard exclusions.
